No. The code customizations applied to the checkout.liquid file will not be inherited by the post-purchase page(s).
To apply the settings to the post-purchase page or the thank you page you need to go to:
- The store theme > select you current theme > click customize button > select checkout page > checkout theme settings.
- Store settings > checkout and accounts
